Beautiful Dress that Never Got Worn

I ordered this dress on March 16 and paid $60 for expedited receipt. It was supposed to be here within 15 days. I told the company multiple times the event was on April 23 and I needed the dress before that in the case alterations were needed. The people replying to emails replied in a timely manner and were very kind but the production of the dress was not completed as quickly as it should and the dress was not even shipped until April 16 and was not received until April 25…two days after Prom! We were in a terrible bind and thought we had plenty of time since we ordered over a month before event. I noticed that after our order the company changed their verbiage on their website to reflect that they didn’t necessarily guarantee 15 day receipt and added to say post-production in some fashion. It was incredibly unfortunate because the dress was gorgeous and the quality far exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, it was $300 out the window for a dress that will never be worn since this was Senior Prom. So sad!
